KRAIBURG TPE – Conductivity Meets Adhesion

Kraiburg TPE is now offering electrically conductive TPE

KRAIBURG TPE is now offering electrically conductive TPE with adhesion to polyolefins or polyamides. These well-established products complement the THERMOLAST® K portfolio and deliver the consistently high quality customers have come to expect. In addition, both new and existing customers benefit from the same expert advice and service—all from a single source.

Innovative applications such as sensors—for example, in the automotive sector—electrostatic-dissipative components, or smart textiles for sports and safety apparel require materials with specific electrical properties. Electrically conductive TPEs open up new possibilities for such applications in terms of tactile feel, functionality, and design. To successfully serve this future market, KRAIBURG TPE is rising to this challenge and is now offering two new series of conductive TPE materials. Existing and new customers benefit not only from the expanded product portfolio but also from the company’s customary personalized and tailored consulting and service, regardless of the project phase.

Customers of both series benefit from the following features:

  • Excellent electrical conductivity
  • Thermoplastic processability
  • Multi-component injection molding with excellent adhesion to various thermoplastics
  • Non-sticky surface feel
  • Smooth, uniform surfaces

“The functional requirements for TPE are constantly increasing. To serve our customers from a single source—both now and in the future—we have expanded our portfolio to include electrically conductive TPE following thorough testing phases,” summarizes Dr. Johannes Krückel, Key Account Manager at KRAIBURG TPE. “We continue to serve traditional application areas, but the trend is clearly moving toward new, additional applications. That is why we believe electrically conductive TPE will play an important role in tomorrow’s market, and we are pleased to be able to offer our customers not only consistent product quality but also our usual excellent service for these products.”

The two new electrically conductive THERMOLAST® K series from KRAIBURG TPE are now available for order from Plastoplan Kunststoffe.
