The demands placed on water distribution, plumbing, heating, and filtration systems are constantly increasing: higher temperatures, corrosive media, stricter drinking water regulations, and growing sustainability goals. With its high-performance polymers, our partner RadiciGroup offers high-performance alternatives to metal solutions, featuring high resistance to hydrolysis and chemicals, excellent dimensional stability, and internationally recognized drinking water approvals.
Another milestone has now been reached: RadiciGroup’s PPA materials RADILON AESTUS T1 RV400RKC 106 NT / 306 BK and RADILON AESTUS T1 RV500RKC 106 NT / 306 BK have been officially certified in accordance with KTW-BWGL for drinking water applications up to 85 °C.
The certification currently applies to the production facility in Villa d’Ogna, Italy, which is capable of fully supplying the European market. For customers in Austria, these high-performance polymers are available through Plastoplan Kunststoffe.
This approval opens up new possibilities for demanding applications in drinking water infrastructure where temperature resistance, high strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability are critical—such as valves, filter cartridges, impellers, connectors, pump housings, and covers.
