Plastics with Added Value
Plastoplan Plastics and Solutions
Plastoplan specializes in the distribution of high-quality engineering plastic granules. We not only supply top-quality raw materials but also offer comprehensive services—ranging from on-site technical support to efficient warehousing and logistics support.
In the field of plastics engineering, good ideas often come with many challenges. We support you with our expertise and help answer the key questions:
Which polymer meets all specific requirements?
Which standards and guidelines must be followed?
Which factors lead to avoidable costs?
Which processing method is best suited for the application?
Together with our customers, we develop the ideal combination of functionality and cost-effectiveness. Our qualified plastics experts analyze your requirements in detail to ensure that the selected polymer or compound reliably meets the required properties.
Our professional approach to the selection, distribution, and development of plastic pellets has proven successful across numerous industries—from the automotive and construction sectors to the electrical and electronics industries, as well as medical technology and the consumer goods industry.
As a member of the family-owned Hromatka Group, Plastoplan Kunststoffe is part of one of the leading distribution networks in the European plastics market, with over 40 warehouses across Europe.
Choosing the right material is key to success or failure. Contact us at the start of your product development process and put us to the test—we’ll help you find the right plastic.
As your raw materials supplier, we support you every step of the way—from the initial concept to the finished product. In addition, our sister company Impetus Engineering —a highly specialized engineering firm focused on product development—is available to assist you as needed.
Your product is based on technical specifications. To ensure these can be implemented using the appropriate manufacturing technology—such as injection molding, extrusion, or 3D printing—it is essential to optimize the design of the part and mold geometries. We are happy to support you in this process with our expertise and our network of mold makers and manufacturers.
Our multifunctional plastics enable multiple functions to be achieved in a single processing step. Electrically or thermally conductive materials, as well as specially modified compounds, make it possible to reduce the number of components in systems, minimize part size, and save costs.
We provide comprehensive advice on the processing requirements for our raw materials. We also offer our expertise to assist you with processes such as pre-drying, post-treatment, quality control, and packaging.
Recycling is one of the most complex areas of the plastics industry. We can assist you with designing components for recyclability, reducingCO2 emissions through the use of mechanically or chemically recycled raw materials, and processing scrap parts.
For complex and costly projects, it makes sense to verify feasibility and implementation details by creating prototypes. There are various approaches available for this purpose, ranging from modeling and 3D printing to custom prototype tooling. We would be happy to introduce you to the most suitable methods and support you in their implementation through our network.
Thanks to SAX Polymers, the compounding company integrated into our group, we can develop custom plastic compounds tailored to your specific needs. Base polymers are modified with special additives, fillers, or reinforcing materials, as well as colorants, to precisely meet your specifications.
For more than half a century, we have consistently focused on the distribution of plastic pellets.
We have our own fleet of vehicles and a Europe-wide network of warehouses with more than 40 locations. Four of these are in Austria, right in your area: Vienna, Hirm, Hornstein, and Hohenems.
Our proven warehouse logistics ensure fast delivery times and a high level of supply reliability for your seamless production planning.
At our Vienna location, we have access to the state-of-the-art technical center of our sister company, SAX Polymers, for development support, material analysis, and color and quality control. This is an added value that our customers greatly appreciate. It also enables us to analyze failure patterns promptly and conduct degradation tests professionally.
Upon request, we share our expertise in plastics through practical training sessions. Practical, concise, and tailored precisely to your needs.
