Kraiburg TPE Now Offers Electrically Conductive TPE
KRAIBURG TPE now offers electrically conductive TPE with adhesion to polyolefins or polyamides. These advanced products complement the THERMOLAST® K portfolio and are distinguished by their consistently high quality. Furthermore, new and existing customers benefit from the customary comprehensive consultation and service provided from a single source.
Innovative applications such as sensors, including those for the automotive sector, electrostatically dissipative components, or smart textiles for sports and safety apparel, require materials with defined electrical properties. Electrically conductive TPEs open up new possibilities for such applications in terms of haptics, functionality, and design. To successfully serve this future market, KRAIBURG TPE is addressing this challenge by now offering two new series of conductive TPE materials. Beyond the expanded product portfolio, existing and new customers benefit from customized and precise consultation and service, regardless of the respective project phase.
Customers of both series benefit from the following features:
- Excellent electrical conductivity
- Thermoplastic processability
- Multi-component injection molding with excellent adhesion to various thermoplastics
- Non-tacky surface haptics
- Closed and homogeneous surfaces
“The functional requirements for TPEs are constantly increasing. To serve our customers comprehensively now and in the future, we have expanded our portfolio to include electrically conductive TPEs after thorough testing phases,” summarizes Dr. Johannes Krückel, Key Account Manager at KRAIBURG TPE. “While classic application areas continue to be served, the clear trend is towards new, additional applications. Therefore, we attribute an important role to electrically conductive TPEs in tomorrow's market and are pleased to offer our customers consistently excellent service for these products, in addition to constant product quality.”
The two new electrically conductive THERMOLAST® K series from KRAIBURG TPE are now available for order from Plastoplan Kunststoffe.
