The materials in the Care series cover a wide range—from flexible to rigid, and from transparent to translucent—and meet the high technical and regulatory requirements of modern medical technology. All products are biocompatible and comply with the strict requirements of USP Class VI and ISO 10993, the key standards for medical plastics.They are designed and intended for applications involving contact with the body for up to 30 days, which is an important classification for safe use in temporary medical applications.
Typical applications include fluid delivery systems, catheters for vascular therapies, surgical instruments, and infusion components such as multi-port valves. Thanks to their excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and processing versatility, VESTAMID® Care and TROGAMID® Care are also suitable for numerous other medical and pharmaceutical applications.
