VICTREX CT™ Polymers for cryogenic environments

VICTREX CT™ polymers offer processors and end-users a tailored solution for challenges in low-temperature environments. Victrex sealing solutions are developed and tested for use in cryogenic environments, providing a more consistent and reliable seal across a wide temperature range compared to fluoropolymers.

REQUIREMENTS:

Reliable sealing performance regardless of temperature fluctuations

  • Performance at very low (cryogenic) to high temperatures
  • Chemical resistance
  • Low permeability
  • Improved mechanical and thermal properties compared to PCTFE

Shell MESC compliance

  • Compliant with the Cryo-PEEK specification in Shell MESC SPE 77/200 and 77/302

Security of supply through the world's largest PEEK production capacity

BENEFITS:

Higher thermal conductivity enables faster response to temperature changes, ensuring the seat seal remains in contact with the steel mating surface and contributes to a more stable seal.
